Default did you try measuring the resistance across the spark plug connector???

There are lots of solution tests in the cd manual, but i'm not exactly sure what it's talking about. It's not very clear. Did you happen to read those? and if so, can you explain them. Do you have the cd manual?

Default Oh man... It was really bad at lower RPMs...

Up higher in the revs it was much better. At idle, the car felt fine- You'd have never known there was a problem just sitting in the car idling.

Never got around to measuring resistance on anything. I don't have the Bently manual, so I was a little limited in testing values and what not with the electrical stuffs...

Default I wouldn't think so....

When you switched the pack from #2 to #3 did you VAG in between to clear codes? If not- You might see the old #2 misfire and a new DTC for #3. If you did VAG in between to clear DTCs, and saw a misfire in 2 AND 3, it's possible it could be both a bad coil pack *and* a bad power stage- The power stage would cause the misfire in #2, and the bad pack in #3 I'm thinking. I don't know what the likelihood of both going would be- But I'm thinking anything's possible? You mentioned that you cleared all DTCs recently and you're not seeing any new ones, right?
