My VDO boost gauge light started blinking....ne ideas what's wrong?

My VDO boost gauge light started blinking....ne ideas what's wrong?
Had my boost gauge installed almost 6 months ago and it's been running fine until today. Got in the car this morning and it was fine....then just now as i pulled into the underground garage of my apartment building, i saw that it was blinking about 2 times per second. I'm using an LED bulb rather than the regular incandescent bulbs. What could be wrong?

Replace the bulb with an regular incandecent bulb and...
if it stops blinking, problem is probably the LED bulb. It the blinking continues, problem is probably the electrical connection.
