Default Is my wheel bearing toast?

I changed my brake rotors & pads at all four corners two weeks ago, and had a bit of a high pitched metallic squeal. No big deal, I figured the pads may be rubbing a bit as they get properly seated. Last week, I chanded my control arms, and noticed that the squeak was still there, but at low speeds (less than 20mph) there was kind of a rubbing sound from the front passenger side. Yesterday, I get off the highway, and at the same low speeds, there is a knocking from the front passenger side, and still a bit of a rubbing/squeaking. Does this sound like a bearing that's gone bad? Could I have knocked something loose/out of position when changing the control arms?

Any thought/ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Default Don't know about the knocking, but...

I'd bet one of the splash shields is rubbing on the caliper to make the squeak.

Default for the knocking noise, I would pull the wheels and recheck all caliper bolts

and check the splash shield for the squealing as 4Driver noted.

Default

it doesn't sound like a wheel bearing, that would be more of a humming/whuring sound
