My windshield squirters dont work... Please help an S4 guy out.

Default My windshield squirters dont work... Please help an S4 guy out.
according to the bentley manual the A4 and S4 run the same system. My headlight squirters work fine but no luck with the windshield. apparently there is a fuse that runs both but it is fine because the headlights are fine. any insight? from what i understand, the pump is at the bottom of the reservoir. maybe it is unplugged? do the pumps go bad?

Default The pumps go bad in the resovoir. I think i have one laying around.
I took mine out a long time ago.

Default They crack. Pull it out of the resovoir and look at the pump, its the black thing with..
the cable going to it.

Default does the fender well need to be removed to get to it? i just put it back together and it is dark
out.
