MY98.5 with GIAC 1BAR. Is it normal for my boost gauge read 1.4BAR peak?

Default MY98.5 with GIAC 1BAR. Is it normal for my boost gauge read 1.4BAR peak?
I don't think I can overboost, can I?

Default does it actually hold that high or just spike and peak there and then drop back
I have GIAC K03 on my 98.5 (meaning non-dbw and not X-chip) it spikes past 1Bar but does not hold past 1.0Bar

Default It peak and hold (a few seconds) at 1.4BAR. I keep heard about the Overboost condition.....
can it happen on nDBW?

Default seems ok
i believe the chip is a 1.1 bar chip
so it's not unreasonable to see some spikes.
mine might have spike like this a few times but it drops right back.

my 98.5 with GIAC 1bar peaks at around 18 psi and holds steady at 16
