Default N75, part-number, price, availability at vw dealership?

so a lot of people said my problem with the new turbo sounds like a shot N75. if i am to buy a new one i want to get the stock N75, not the race one from the old 5-cylinders.

what is the stock valve called? is it the C valve? or K? does anyone have the part number(qfrog maybe????? ), about how much does it run, and should i be able to pick it up from the vw dealership(it's about 25 miles closer than the nearest audi dealership)? seems like a part i wouldn't be able to pick up from a normal auto store right?

034 906 283 J (N75 J Valve). You can get it at ECS or Worldimpex, too.

isn't J the 'race' valve from the 5-cylinders? or is that H?

Default found my old issue of EC with the N75 article...

058 906 283C
058 906 283F

034 906 283J
034 906 283H
034 906 283K

the C and F are stock for 1.8T engines, the C has been replaced by VAG in favor of the F which uses less voltage for better cold start applications.

the valves with 034 in the beginning are from the old 5-cylinder cars.

so i guess i need to snag an F valve, anyone know how much the dealership charges?

Default yup C is stock, but has been replaced by F now... still having a little trouble with your turbo

i got it to limit itself in chipped mode, but in stock mode it boosts like crazy, and in any mode i get the occasional bucking under boost.

i really hope it's just the N75 valve. maybe it got messed up from all the weird boost issues before... the turbo was bad so it'd be sending it's info but under different actual boost.

Just run chipped all the time then. Why would you want to run stock anyway?

Default i do run chipped all the time, was just testing stock to see what the turbo did then

kind of aiding in my suspicion that the problem is with the N75, since it's electronic, rather than a wastegate problem or something like that.
