its not a rattle and not a metal clanking sound. It sounds like i have a golf ball in my glove box (i checked and i don't). Its not coming right from the glove box its more deeper in the dash, maybe in the engine bay. Anybody else ever have this?? (it does it mainly during acceleration, and its not all the time.)

It's almost impossible to determine a noise source without actually hearing it, especially when you can't narrow it down to something more specific or when it happens most often. The only thing that I can think of that is in that area is the cabin air filter - maybe someone put a golf ball it there. Is it your b-day? I know my friends and I play jokes on each other like this. I put 100s of marbles in my buddy's spare tire well last year. He had no idea WTF was going on and had to pick up a client that day too :-)

If you said something like: I hear this clicking noise, but only when I turn, especially when I accelerate - then, I'd say you have a failing or brocken CV joint.
