Default NAPA Gold Oversized Oil Filter Part# 1191 (for 1.8T)

I know some may not like the idea of a NAPA filter and thats cool I just wanted to post the actual part number of the NAPA Gold equivalent of the oversized OEM Audi filter. For whats its worth, NAPA Gold oil filters meet or exceed the quality of OEM filters, also I noticed the NAPA filter held about 0.25 quarts more than the Audi filter and it cost $8.69 vs ~$15 from the dealer.

Isn't it the 1333 not the 1191?

Default 1191 = Equivalent of oversized OEM...

1333 Sounds like its even larger. Dont know what the cost difference is though.. If its not much I'll try the 1333 out myself in 3k miles.

I think the 1333 is a bit bigger & also a couple of bucks more expensive.

Exactly. It's going to add another .25 - .5QT. I used one yesterday.

Default Jebus I should have taken pictures for comparison, The 1191=OEM updated and 1333= OEM 2.8 Volvo TD

The 1333 is about the same as the Purolator in size. My estimate is mentioned below for increased oil capacity.

Default We will see next oil change if I switch back. I like the sloted bottom for removal on the OEM.

The Napa just screwed on and has no real way to grip. Removal may be a bish.
