Default is it neccesary to do a TBA when switching modes on a chip?

ie if i were to switch from 'chipped' mode back to stock mode, should i do a TBA before starting the car? this is with an APR EMCS chip by the way.

Default

is this mode switching within the chip? If so, no TBA necessary IMO

Default yes, it's done with a remote switch...

so there's not actual switching of physical chips.

Default you're fine.

TBA is done so that the ECU learns of the throttle curve. In your case that data has been written previously (whenever the chip was installed and batt disconnected), so it's still there and valid, written/shared into those switch-on-demand maps.

That's how I think it is ;-)
