Default Necessary to remove steering wheel to replace burnt bulb in instrument cluster?

What about to replace cruise switch? If so, how to remove wheel in non-sport 2.8? Thanks in advance!

No for #1. Just low and extend the wheel and pop off the steering column cover piece in front of the cluster. There's a tech article that was linked to yesterday about this.

Someone did #2 with very few tools and he had a lot of pictures. I don't think it involved taking the wheel off to do it. He was replacing one of his stalks, but not sure if it was cruise.

Default No

Simply remove the plastic part in between steering and cluster and you will have access to 2 phillips screws that you must remove and then you can pull out the cluster and replace your burnt bulb
