Need Advice about a messed up order situation

Everyone who knows me knows of my quest to inform the world of the evils of carparts.com. After getting horrible service I e-mailed them to complain and cancel my order. A week later I got an e-mail saying that my credit card had been credited the $$$ I had spent on a pair of sway bars that never arrived. Well about 3 weeks later (3 and a half months late) the swaybars have appeared on my doorstep. Should I wait to see if they DID in fact credit my card? Is this some scam to force me to keep the product?
