Need advice on power steering leak
I posted a few weeks ago about my power steering leak. Anyway, I had the steering rack replaced and the high pressure hose replaced after 2 mechanics told me my leak was coming from both of those places. I got the car back, and a few days later, the fluid level was down again. I brought it back to the mechanic and they couldn't find any leaks and thought it was a bubble in the system which caused the fluid level to drop, and they topped off the fluid and returned the car to me after a week. I've been driving it around for the last week, and popped the hood today to find that yet again, the fluid level is down.
Other than the rack, hose and pump, where else could the fluid be leaking from? Has anything like this happened to anyone else?
Thanks.
Brad

by the tank.. remove that plastic shround and follow those lines.. they lead to
a power steering cooler. Those audi clamps are ****.. replace them. That's where mine was leaking from

Can you tell me exactly what clamps these are so that I can tell the mechanic exactly what I want replaced?
I appreciate the advice

Re: i need to do this too, I have a very small leak somewhere too, barely lose fluid at all....
Would bad hose clamps cause me to lose fluid this quickly? The tank was full at the beginning of the week and now it's below the minimum
