Need another Denver tester for Stage 3 MAF, this time a 1.8T owner...
The Stage 3 MAF for the 1.8T is now available for testing. Will fit any A4 1.8T from 1997-to-early 99 models, ie; any 078 133 471A MAF-equipped 1.8T tho a 97MY year will require tester to buy a 471A MAF to exchange with me if he wants to keep the Stage 3 MAF at end of test. 98-early 99 cars can do a straight-across swap if they choose to keep the Stage 3 MAF at end of test at no charge.
Requirements: Owner must be VAG (or similar) equipped and knowledgable in it's use. Willing and capable of logging graphs as well as recording/clearing DTC's if any. And car must have stock airbox tho any panel filter inside is acceptable. No cone or open filter set-ups at this time.
Accepted candidate will report to me and here on MAF's efficacy. Test will run for a week-to-ten days or longer if necessary and must be conducted in a daily-driven car by the tester.
At end of test he/she may keep the Stage 3 unit at no charge in exchange for testing and your old MAF core, or I'll re-install your old one.
It's also entirely possible this conversion may turn out benefiting from or even requiring some air box modifications leading to a larger diameter airbox outlet with larger integrated velocity stack for even greater gains. I won't force you to do that. In that event I will source a used airbox from a salvage yard, do any necessary modifications on it before swapping. Tester's car will not be subject to any modification/alteration whatever other than "swapped" airbox/MAF-related items.
Would prefer a local tester that is close to me (3 miles east of Cherry Creek Mall and one mile south of Alameda) so that back & forth commute isn't a major hassle.

I can do it
I sent an email to your addy but you might not be using it. I'm currently maxing out my MAF and I need something bigger. I have a '99 AEB and would love to test out your Stage 3 MAF on it. The current setup is listed below. I also have a VAGCOM and know how to use it.
RS4 Motorsport turbo, stock airbox, ported exhaust manifold, 310cc injectors, adjustable FPR, intake manifold isolator, port match intake manifold, EVO FMIC, and a high flow cat with EGT.
Thanks!
