my car was feelin kinda sluggish(im chipped) but it wasnt even feeling like the turbo was kicking in.
instead of power, i could hear sound of air spraying fast, so i thought my original bpv had finally kicked. i was accelerating and suddenly i got power back and it was like i was chipped again.
then a day later i was accelerating, and the punch left again, i could feel it die down and now, im back to hearing that whooshing sound again.
so since it came and went, i assumed bpv sticking... well i changed that today... and still the same problem
at around time of turbo spooling, instead no acceleration change (maybe a little increase) and i hear WOOOOSH coming from engine bay. i glanced in there and didnt see any hoses popped off.
any ideas?

pressure check the car.
On that model year, I would look at the hose that connects the turbo to the crosspipe and the BPV. Right where the BPV breaks off from the main hose is where the hose tends to rip. If that's okay, either pressure test it or work your way from the turbo to the throttle body and check every hose and clamp.

If you are looking at the intake manifold, there is a hose with 90 degree turn in it just to the right of the manifold. I heard the same thing under boost, and inspected all the hoses and found a 1/2" tear in the hose. Get it replaced with something stronger, prob solved.
