I have car in gear, Ebrake etc, but wondering if I should put the front on stands (leaving rear tires on ground) then rear (w/ front tires on ground) or should I do one side at a time (leaving opposite side on ground). As I have had things shift on me before (please refrain from bringing it up again for those who recall my mistakes) I want to make sure it is the most stable that it can be (while having two wheels off the car) Thanks

stands) I will lower the car until it is resting on the jack stands, then leave jacks in there too. But you are saying entire front, then entire rear correct?

front and back are pretty easy. remove calipers and carriers, rotor will, with the help of a few wacks, come off.
repeat, you're done
repeat, you're done

oops...just noticed that the jack stand should probably be turned the other way so that it doesn't break the wood block, which you don't need, but it helps protect the under body. so people use a hockey puck.
you can also put the stand on the pinch rail as well, but I don't like to do that.
just get a lift

There's a marked spot behind the pinch rail where the jackstand is supposed to go.
