FI CF hood came with no holes for washers ... neither thru the hood nor under hood. However, the FI CF hood had the 99.5 and greater under hood location faintly outlined with the square that once cut out allowed me to pop in the washers from my 99.5. Make more sense?

have a snap bracket molded in the base. This bracket basically forms a square shape. One side has a fixed under-cut and the other a flexible under-cut. You snap the nozzle into a square hole in the underside of the hood (just short of the cowl very near the edge of the hood).
It sits close enough to the edge that when snapped in place the orifice is aimed at the windscreen between the hood and the lower cowl below the wipers.
There is a pic in my pic poster that I put up for someone looking to see how to pull a pre 99.5 nozzle. On this type the nozzle sits up inside a cutout on the inner hood panel. On the 99.5 and greater the sheet metal has a smaller square hole cut in it and the nozzle snaps into that hole and 'hangs' down into the plenum area.
