Situation: 7:30 on a cool night, two friends in the car, took a hard right turn to get on highway, acclerated WOT to 65mph, then steady throttle. a couple of seconds later this happened (within a matter of a second): Engine hesitated and loss of power, as I could feel the car stop accelerating, the yellow check engine light came on and went off almost instantaniously, then power back as normal! Drove to my destination and back home, no problem!

Like I said, this took all of maybe one second!

Could this be a faulty spark plug, loss of fuel pickup?

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of calling the dealer to see if they can look into it.
