Hi I really need help with my 1998 Audi A4 1.8T, the exhaust is smoking white smoke and when i hit the gas it tries to stall out, it only moves when i hit about 3k RPM it is a 5 speed manual, the codes showing up are

P1196- 02 sensors

P1545- throttle body module

P0134-02 sensors

I do not know if it needs a turbo, a new catalytic converter, or a new ECU ...the motor turns on and runs ..please let me know what do you think the problem is i would greatly appreciate your help i hate seeing my car just sitting and not running it sucks thanks alot ....

Well your throttle body module is throwing a code, that will affect driveability.

Couldn't find your codes on the Ross-Tech site, but if your oxygen sensor is caput, you'll experience all that.

Edit: why do you think it needs a new turbo or a new ecu? The codes are telling in themselves.

Get it to a good garage and they'll fix it up.

Have you done a throttle body adaptation? My 1.8l behaved like yours until the throttle body
adaptation was completed using VCDS,but no smoking.
