RTFA...take ball peen hammer to silver box and hit twice to reset.

Default what are you trying to reset?

I have a VAG-Tool is that's what you mean and I'm in Redwood City/Mt. View.

I thought the trick to it is to place a 15" subwoofer magnet on top of the ECU to reset.
