need help from you mac people: OS X and printing
I can print text documents from office v.x fine to an HP4050. I installed HP's mac OS bundle and text prints fine to a networked HP4050.
If I try to print any image files, weather it be .bmp, .gif, .jpg, or .eps from adobe illustrator 10 I get 1 line of garbage each on about 6 pages.
Only thing I've found from HP/Adobe is that encoding needs to be ASCII and not Binary, and from what I can tell of the .EPS files, it is only using ASCII and PCL type 2.
The printer is being accessed over networ using LPR printing. I don't have any AppleTalk zones setup at the moment.
