Default Need more power out of my 96 A4 2.8

Can anyone give me tips on how to get the most power, or just more power from my 2.8 (96) without going to a supercharger.

Not many choices....throttle body, air filter, and exhaust all yield minor improvements.

Default Other options...

I am very happy with my Vortrag ported heads w/Schrick cams. Also have a K&N panel filter. The car is noticeably faster than stock.
I still have a stock exhaust currently, until the 2.8 true dual exhaust is completed.
You can e-mail me if you want more info.

Default The future looks brighter every day...

...for those who will continue to keep their 12v models. There will be more hope to increase power in the near future.
1) There's already Vortrag ported heads/intake with Schrick cams available. I have this and love it.
2) There's the Rimmer S/C, due out soon.
3) There will be a Vortrag high performance, true dual exhaust system for the 2.8 models soon.
4) For the very adventerous, there will be a Vortrag 3.2 liter 12v upgrade. I'll be getting this engine upgrade this winter.
So, at least there will be more options for the 12v.
