I need pads and rotors on the front end of my car. This is the first time I have had to put new brakes on it so I am unsure on what brand I should go with. I will definetly be going through ECS Tuning since I got my parts there last time at a good price and ahead of time as well!

The sensor for ABS is in the hubs.
As for a brake pad sensor, I'll let someone else answer. I know some cars do have a brake pad sensor to warn of low pads, but not sure about our Audis.

yes they are there to tell if the pads are low. There are so many good pads out there with the sensors built in that one should not get a pad without them unless you are into tracking the car.

Well I would say that is one option - Again I like going with the A8 rotor option.

Here is the ECS kit for it w/o pads

Again I run the Mintex Red Box and had them for over ten years on the A4 that my daughter is now driving and I trust them. low dust and good street performance

i would go with zimmerman rotors (preferred, supposedly ATEs warp according to imawesome and a couple other members) or ATE second choice (im running these on my rears no issues). and a set of ebc red stuff pads (good brake bite initally, good fade resistance, not that bad dust that can be cleaned from your wheels)
i haven't tried the ebc red stuff yet, but those will be my next pad. i have tried pagid oems, good oem compound. axxis ultimates have GREAT initial bite, and have awesome street braking they dust like crazy and the dust will stick horribly to the wheel. not only that but they do fade under repeated fast braking (yes i know, not typical of a street driver, but i do tend to go on "spirited runs"). and currently i have ebc green stuff on my rears, they are just slightly better than oem, nothing to brag about.
