Default Need new hood, oem or cf?

I recently had an accident where my hood was damaged and I took it to a shop to get an estimate on the damages.. they said around 800 using my existing hood.

If I get a new hood they said it would be over 1200..

Fiber Image Hood from MMR costs around 600-630. Which would be cheaper..

Should I get CF hood or try to get a used/new oem hood?

Default Do I really need hood pins?

I heard that MMR's hoods do not need hood pins and go right on the factory brackets...

Default I wonder what CF hoods do to resale value? I mean, for the average buyer.

Somethng to think about, if you plan on selling it anytime soon.
