I don't think the 1.8T engine is noisey at all (up to 80mph at least). Most of the noise is wind and road noise. Engine is quite refined.

I don't think it is, you need to try for yourself....

I was expecting the same type of buzzing as my old Integra. Not so, if anything I would say that this is a quiet car. But your expectations are what will make that decision.
You need to drive it at highway speeds so that you can decide.
