everything works fine though thats the weird thing. I figured if it was a hack job something wouldnt work but it all does

I think the guy just pulled the wires from the trunk to under the seat when he put the stock stereo back in before he sold the car. Just do what the guy from teh audio forum said and make sure the red power cable isn't still connected to the battery, then tuck the cables back under the seat. You'll be ahead of the game if you ever decide to install amps, subs, etc. There are probably speaker wires run to the front doors as well - did you find any speaker wiring going to the back? Follow the red power cable to find which side of teh car he used to run it to the front, then look under the door sills/carpet on the other side of the car. I bet you'll find good quality speaker wire there.
