Default Need some Opinions....look inside for details!!!

I have a 98 1.8T Q Automatic, now when I accelerate, the car makes a slight "Psst" sound and as it goes up to 6,000 or so and shifts to Second again it makes a "Psst" sound, I know this is my BOV? right? but does that sound mean it is leaking? I work at a dealership and had one of mechanics hook up a pressure tester to a small hose up next to the air intake and he did a pressure test telling me I holding pressure just fine and that my valve is not leaking, I have the stock valve and my car is chipped? So is the "Psst" normal or is that telling me that it's leaking a little PRECIOUS PSI?
Thanks for the help!
