I've got two tires in the front that are pretty much bald. I had a bad alignment and the edges wore out bald quicker than the rest of the tire. The rear tires are almost ready to go too but the fronts are really bad.
Question is, can I get two new tires for the front first then get the other two when it's time to rotate or say a month later? I just don't have the cash to get a full set right now. Will the different rear levels affect the car?

you say the fronts are shot, and rears arent far behine, replace them all, make sure your alignment is good, and rotate them as required, they will last a while depending on compound.

seriously, just get 4, if not you will always be in the "just replace 2" groove because you will wear the older ones quicker but still ahve 2 decent ones, thats no fun, its almost like a "fresh start"
