Need a tire - what do I do?
I got a screw in one of my Y2K Sport Dunlop SP8000 tires. The front driver's side. My local tire dealer NTB called Dunlop and the tire is no longer available. So what do I do? The car only has 14K miles and I really don't want to buy 4 new tires! So what can I do? Any idea?
Would it be really bad to get one new tire for the front, Dunlop's replacement for the SP8000? How about two?

I think the hole is too close to the sidewall to allow for repair.
There is an external patch on there now that my Good Year dealer put on. They couldn't guarantee the patch so they did it for free. Do you think an internal patch may work, even though the hole is less than an inch from the sidewall?
