I hate when people add phoneholders, portable gps units, mp3 players and other out of place stuff in their cars. It just screws up the look.

I personally try to keep the interior as stock looking/clean as possible

does it amplify the sound thru the car's stereo? or does it use the ipod as the amp?

From what i know, if you connect it thru the headphone jack, it uses the ipod as the amplifier. this is not the greatest in quality.
