Hey, I just got my Neuspeed G2 exhaust installed yesterday and I'm still coming to terms with the Jet r expresso sound. Sometimes I like it sometimes it sounds weird like I'm leaking exhaust or water spraying on metal. Anyway I'm wondering if anybody with a neuspeed exhaust and a chip doesn't have this sound?

But I have extensive experience with a Neuspeed chipped and exhaust 1.8T, and I can tell you that is was definitely louder than most A4 1.8T exhausts I have heard, and much, much less throaty than the Stebro Cat-back I run on the 2.8. Maybe if you clarify a bit I can tell you if it is normal.

What he means by espresso is like the the steam thingy on an espresso machine. I like the overall sound of the exhaust though.

its annoying, but not intolerable, only when it like echoes off od jersey barriers when close to them.

So both your v2 borla and a stock exhaust with a test pipe made the same "jet/espresso steamer/sandblaster" sound?

with both the test pipe and the g2 exhaust do you still have the jet noise? Please keep me updated on what your exhaust sounds like with a straigh midpipe. When do you plan on doing that?
