Did this last night. Pretty damn easy.. I thought that retaining clip was suppose to give me a hard time..! I had an extra set of hands with me, but other then that I did most of it myself.. on the short shifters that i've installed, i could never reach them w/out stripping them, so it made the install more difficult than it has to be. nice job.

Very pleased, the 'Straw in Jello" shifter is gone, notchy, short, very nice!!!

You can move it back and forth, you need a Torx #25 bit as well. Easy....
