Check out the new homepage article. My $.02. I was lucky enough to see this car in person, and as with the new A4, the pictures don't do it justice. In person I thought it was the best looking Avant I've ever seen. The back, while keeping the design cues of the sedan, somehow manages its own unique look. The slope of the windows gives the car a very aggressive stance. The front just looks fabulous. I know, I know -- I'm biased. But I honestly got an emotional reaction (a very positive one) when I first saw this car.

It looks good! Perhaps I should wait for it. Does anyone know when will it be available in the States?

If I remember correctly the original A4 Avant was out in Europe for approx. 1 year before the N. American one was available.

I don't mind it so much but I wouldn't call it better than current.

I think Audi likes to make the distinction between the "S" lineup by painting the lower panels on those vehicles.
