I note that the Y2K A4 Sport is to come with new 10 spoke wheels - hopefully, they're more distinctive than the 7 spokers that have come through thus far (although they've grown on me a bit). Anyone have pictures of the new wheels? I have a 98.5 A42.8Q Sport - and had the 5 spoke wheels substituted before I took delivery of the car. I still think they're classic and neat.

I saw from German's English edition A4 brochure. It looks like the standard 8-spoke that add 2 more spokes. From the picture, the wheels don't look much difference than the 8-spoke. IMHO, the 7-spoke 98-99.5 sports wheels look much nicer while the 5-spoke is the classic design, after all.
Hope this help

This was back in August of '98 - and demand for the cars was really taking off - but the dealer, Don Rosen in Plymouth Meeting, PA was willing to do an even exchange, with new 5 spoke wheels. Since they had gotten the car from NY or NJ, where front license plates are required, the car came through with the front bracket. Before I picked the car up, I requested if something could be done - again they obliged, and switched a brand new bracketless bumper from a Europa Blue A4 for me - again at no cost. Not bad.
