Default New Audi A4 owner needs help ...

Hi everybody , I just got an Audi A4 , V6 , 2.8 , 1996 , 174 K for $ 1500
I have 3 major problems with this car :
1 - the CV Axle half shaft driver side is broken
2 - the battery died
3 - there is a coolant liquid leak ( green color )
The leak is from a hose probably has a hole , the battery is to old or the alternator is not doing his job and the cv axle is making clicking noises when I turn left .
How much this 3 major problems will cost me ?
I want to do a radiator flush , oil and filter change , and check the brakes, they are ok now nut just to make sure , aaaa and the lights left or right they are not working ...
is it to much $ 1500 for this car ???

If you got leather and a sunroof, sounds like a deal to me. ..and you're going to have weekend projects! Battery $75 from wal-mart. hose is cheap. .not sure on the axle. If I needed a car I'd do it.

Cv axle is about 110-130 dollars. A direct replacement.
I know purems has them

Battery cheap, get a sears or whatever local retailer. Just buy the correct size. $50-75

coolant leaking, you need to look further into it, hopefully it's not the radiator that's cracked.

Check your bulbs and fuses for your turn signals then relay. Go from there.

Default The most common leak on the V6 is the water pump.

The seals fail and eventually the pump starts to leak. If this happens you are on borrowed time as when the pump eventually seizes up you timing belt will break and destroy your engine.

So check that first! The timing belt and water pump change should have already been done twice but don't count on it.

The other things are minor. Costco has a battery for around $70.
