One thing that caught my eye was they said 5 and "6 SPEED" manual would be offered. They also made it sound that all engines would be aluminum block but then went on to talk about the 3.0 and 2.0 liter engines. So probably not the 1.8T.
They are also going to offer a 2.5l V6 rated at 180hp. Wonder if there going to bring this engine to the US to compete with the BMW 323, so to rebadged 325.

1.8T 170hp
2.5 V6 180hp
3.0 V6 220hp...
1.8T is an unique engine since its a high potential turbocharged engine that's different than BMW and Mercedes's entry-level sixes.
Remember 1.8T is always in different market than competitors.
2.5 definitely is going against BMW 325i and Mercedes C240. It will be a very competitive engine offering.
3.0; of course, is sweetest and most expensive engine to take on 330i, C320 and IS300.
