Default New ball bearing short shifter............

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/2428/strat_short_shifter.jpg"></center><p>
Hey guys,

Yesterday I had the chance to be the first to test out a new ball bearing short shifter for the A4. Because this product is not yet availabe to the general public, I cannot say too much about the company who will be selling it. (it's the same company who just came out with a ball bearing shifter for the S4, hint hint) Anyway, after we completed the install I took it out for a testdrive. WOW!! Shifting is smooth, short, and tight. It feels like what a sports car shifter should feel like. This shifter is much tighter and smoother than my previous UUC shoftshifter. All in all I would say this is a great product. Im not sure when it will be available to the general public (I think very shortly) but i give it two thumbs up!!

Default It's a shorter throw than the uuc, plus it has ball bearings in it............

When we got my old UUC unit out I compared the two. They look VERY similar, but when you slide the shifter around you can really feel the difference. The UUC unit did not slide very freely...not very smooth. The new unit slides like butter.

No idea of prices yet...but im sure it will be competitive with the UUC/Neuspeed.
