Default New Carputer Plan

I have read almost all the search results on audiworld and have been on mp3car.com. It doesn't seem that hard. Does anything look wrong with my wiring diagram. I stole it from someone on mp3car.com and am editing it. For now I am going to stay with the stock headunit and use a blitzsafe adapter.

Default what kind of power supply is it? What kind of startup/shutdown procedure are you looking for?

Your diagram looks good. Is the power supply an Opus? If not, you need some type of shutdown controller.

No ignition switch? I would have it shut down automatically after the ignition is killed.

Default Yes i am going to use an Opus power supply. To power and shutdown.

It seems as though that is the best power supply out there. Great reviews.

Default You need some type of remote wire to tell the Opus that the car is turning off or on to initiate ...

shutdown or bootup sequence. You can run the wire from the ignition switch or some other wire that is hot when the car is ON and cold when the car is OFF.

I'm sure the Opus directions will indicate this.
