Default new clutch is in... clicking noise when in neutral and clutch pedal down?

so, just got my car back from the garage. i had them replace my 70K mile OEM clutch with a Sachs Sport clutch. The clutch feel is worlds different. I stalled out twice getting my car out the parallel parking spot it was in. that wasn't embarassing at all...
The resistance on the clutch pedal is A LOT more than what it used to be. Is this associated with a higher spring rate or something along those lines? It's a strange feeling going from having a clutch that engages a toe hair away from the tippy top to a clutch that engages like 2 inches from the bottom...
Anyways, when i got home and was parking, i noticed that when i'm in neutral and have my foot on the clutch, i'm hearing a ticking noise. is this a normal break-in thing??

thx

Default mine did something similar except it was more of a "ting" than "tick"

luckily it happened at the track and the guy that owns the shop that did the install was the event organizer. I dropped off my instructor and drove straight over to him. He made a preliminary diagnosis and wasn't worried about it at all. Said it was somthing nicking the inside of the bell housing and it would wear down w/o a problem. That was the last time I heard it and I've got 8K mi and 3 track days on it since. you should be fine but I'd still bring it back to be on the safe side.

I get a whinning noise every time i shift. sounds like a lawnmower pull start. seems to shift fine but not sure if it is a clutch problem. I am a new used audi owner and not used to the new sounds. Is this common or is there a flywheel problem or the clutch wearing out?
thanks
