Just got a Febi control arm kit from ECS, but noticed something strange. On two of the arms, I can grab the threaded end of the ball joint (circled in green) and move it quite easily by hand. The joints on the other arms are tight. Can't make them budge at all by hand.
Does this mean those two arms are bad?

No that is normal. They should be movable using a moderate amount of force. They shouldn't wiggle freely, but they should not be completely inmovable either. It is hard to describe in text form.

Hmm... yeah it does come down to an issue of how much movement is too much. The upper straight arm joint does require a bit of pressure to move, so it might be ok.
The joint on the big lower arm is quite a bit more loose. It doesn't flop around but I can move it with just my thumb, like the joystick on an Xbox controller. I'll see if I can get a hold of someone by phone at the store.

Are the boots on the upper control arms supposed to be sealed or are they more of just a buffer?....
