pretty close to BMW handling, although they didn't come close to having a suspension that is properly sorted out in the first year of production. Then again, Toyota has no factory racing heritage like Honda, BMW, Audi, etc. They do make great engines, and as of next year will be in F1.

The thing is, any car can be made to be fast. If someone like Jay Leno, that is an ethusiast with money, bought a car like that, they would wedge whatever they could to make power, and it wouldn't matter if the motor blew after 10,000 miles.
BTW....I drove an IS 300 for about 70 miles last night and this morning......Very fun car.....especially with Trac control off

Provided, it's almost an engine rebuild, and it costs more than the car does, but I'm sure the same is true for the Lexus.

you spend $7500 - untold amounts of money to hop up the engine in your car, and after a year the rest of the car just falls aprt. yay, more money to spend. What's the point? Just to say you had a 600hp car that you paid more to get than the cost of the car itself, and now the car is junk and all you got is an engine?
