Do yourself a favour...cover the positive battery post with something...the battery should have...
come with a plastic cover over it(if you used a stock replacement). If not, fashion something. That's an accident just waiting to happen.

Just after I put ST brace on I went out for a hard drive...
Got a little air over a hill and when I came down the bar hit the battery and shorted it out. The car went dead and I was still going 80. I was on a back road miles from nowhere with out a phone. Now I have a piece of intertube rubber to protect the battery.
