Do you rent the CNC to do this or is it via toll manufacturing.
I cannot comprehend this pricing unless your porfit margin is astromnomical.
BEst of luck, certainly there are some that have no issue with the pricing!

Honestly, these are not just pieces of metal.
This is machined steel, plated and finished, with custom-cast shift pattern insert.
We can make cheaper. In fact, we do - it's called aluminum. But to compromise on quality or fit is something that we will not do.
In all reality, I find it humorous when people call into question the retail costs of products like these. I even hear my dear departed Aunt Sally in the back of my head saying, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!"
Bottom line: hundreds of people have been very satisfied with our *****. If you prefer to spend less, I can personally point you toward many generic-fit ***** down at AutoZone that may better fit your budget.

I love going to the track also, but for others a track day is just one day and then gone... but the **** will be with you as long as you wish!

a heavy shift **** deadens some of the "feel" in the driveline. A light shift **** lets you know when your working your synchros too hard. Have you ever considered machining a few out of white or black nylon or something? Perhaps with a nice texture or something?

However, I've always felt that the solid ***** give you more feedback. The factory "cork" ***** (cut one open - depending on the year, there is real cork, wood, or foam inside) absorb too much of the feedback. The Audi shift mechanism already has some huge chunks of rubber in the linkage, so feedback is a commodity in short supply.
A plastic or delrin **** might be a good intermediate, but would look a little... well, plasticky!
Nevertheless, I will take your thoughts under advisement.
