No cool Audi commercials in a while...

Granted I don't watch too much television, but I haven't seen a cool commercial from Audi in a while. Lots of VW stuff, though.
I thought the one with the A8 and the lingerie model was great. I can't say I like anything about the commercial with the lady and the TT roadster... except it has a TT roadster in it.
While I don't forsee myself buying any sort of Lexus in the near future, the newest IS300 commercial with the young guy translating for what's meant to be some illicit deal is great.

They're kind of downplaying the A4, hyping the TT and the A8L. That's all right with me--I'm starting to see WAY to many A4s in San Diego.

In Las Vegas there is a nice ad running for A4s. It has a young guy driving a silver A4 in the country, with a large overweight lab sitting in the backseat with its head hanging out. The voice over is something like, "In my car, my dog is not fat or slow . . . "
Anyone else seen this one?

First let me say, this is probably one of the best enthusiast sites I've ever seen and has probably done it's share of converting people into the Audi collective.
The reality, however, if you're reading this, you've either already bought an Audi or are pre-disposed to buying one because of research you've done on your own. And you're probably an "enthusiast".
Commercials and advertising aren't really for people like us. While we may think that they're cool and accurately reflect the cars' greatness, the commercials are really for the masses of lemmings that have no clue as to what it means to drive an Audi (or a BMW or a Mercedes or a Lexus or...)
In any case, while I agree that Audi's don't need commercials, they definitely help proliferate the brand which helps all owners in the long run.

I had no interest in buying a new car, I was perfectly content with my 96 Galant...then my parents went to look at minivans and asked if I would come along (I sold Honda's for awhile) the dealer happens to have Audi, and VW as well as Chrysler. I have always liked Audi's and decided to drive a Jetta 1.8T, and an A4 1.8T. I drove the Jetta first, then drove the Audi. The jetta was faster, the Audi better in every other possible way.
Then I came in this forum, and you all sold me. I have always been a huge car nut and advertizing means nothing to me.
