I had been going to Brookline Audi, but after my last visit there I decide it was time to switch dealers, they aren't very good and don't seem to care. I also had just started a job in Natick, so on to Bernardi. I actually was pleased with Bernardi to the point of telling my GF to make an appointment for the control arm recall and I would drop it off. They refused the appointment, because she didn't buy the car there. When people ask me about my Audi I tell them great car, but the dealers are terrible.

I picked up a 2000 A4 2.8 and except for it taking a while to get a car with my specs, had a great experience. Maybe this was because I paid cash. Did the test drive at Bernardi but they wouldn't look for a car with my specs until we nailed down a price and I didn't want to bother with that chat until I knew they could deliver the car I wanted. Called Brookline the same day and they went looking...and got my business. Have heard good things about Bernardi but was put off by them from the start.

I have had terrible experience with their service department in the past. I brought my 91 GTI 16v there for some work and they tried to sell me parts I knew I didn't need. The estimate was $350 while another VW dealer ended up doing the work $125. After leaving my car in the Bernardi lot, I was told by their shuttle driver that several cars have been hit in their cramped lot. Not something I want to hear when leaving my new car there.
I had my 5k service done at Wagner in Boylston and they were friendly and did a decent job. They overfilled the oil, but that seems par for the course with Audi dealers. They don't seem to have any issue with the fact that the car was purchased at Bernardi.

In '97 I got my 1.8tq at bernardi the service has less than acceptable. I had a what seams to be an open telecons with AoA. I do admit that Bernardi is better than they used to be. I did go to another dealer for my 2.7T A6. I oaid a lot for the 1.8 but trhey did not get another order from me. As for the recall complain complain complain there are times that the squeeky wheel gets the grease.
