No power to fuel pump

I have a 1999 A4 Quattro 2.8L. The fuel pump isn't getting power. So far, I've replaced the fuel pump(which I found I didn't need to), checked the fuse, and replaced the relay. I don't know what else to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you don't have access to a computer with VAG-COM, at least get the under-dash panel off, and pull the fuel pump relay again. Take its plastic cover off, then reinstall the relay. Turn the ignition on, then move the contact arm to close the contacts. If the pump runs, the circuit that supplies power from the battery to the fuel pump is OK. If it doesn't run, use a test light or DVM to check for 12VDC power at one of the contacts. If you have power here, then there is an interuption in the wiring between the relay and fuel pump. If you don't have power here, check for 12V power at the fuel pump fuse.
Now if the fuel pump runs OK with this test, next crank the engine while watching the relay contacts. They are supposed to close. The relay coil is powered by the ECU, so if the wiring between them is good, the ECU might have a bad component.
