Well . I must have posted a ton of these already. Let me just start off saying thanks to everyone for their help.

When i get into 4th and 5th gear at 3K rpm, the car has this horrible clanking, banging sound from the bottom passenger side of the car.. When i push the clutch in the noise stops, but then when i engage the clutch again the noise continues..
Its also odd because when i exceed 3K rpms the noise disapates and eventually stops, but then when i slow down to 3K rpms it comes back agian. Can someone tell me what they think it is.. CV joints seem good( shop said) maybe the drive train.. I also thought i may be the exhuast but that is fine.. the noise would be constant right??

Please someone help with this problem. no one can figure it out..

Noise can change with varying speed and load..

Check for loose heat sheilds or see if there is anything stuck up there.

How about rear diff mount?
Does it happen in reverse too?

But why would it go away after i push in the CLUTCH????

But the noise goes away after i push in the clutch and then comes right back when the car is in gear.. I think the heat shield would be a more constant noise??
