Nokia 8260? Where did you buy?
Just looking for some good prices on this phone (other than eBay and AT&T direct)...
Anyone know of any online electronics store that is selling them without service?
And for that Audi content.. Is the integration kit still a work in progress by Ed P and crew?
Thanks,
Jon

I already called them and b/c my "contract" isn't up for another 6 months...
.. they are not willing to give me a better price through their CUP (Customer UPgrade) program. Already tried that one!

then you still have to stick with whatever phone you have..
for 6 more month, not like you can switch sim card on a 8260 anyway so if you get a new phone by itself, it's gonna be expensive. to me, not worth the money with this ever changing phone technology

Well....
I just "changed" calling plans and agreed to another contract. They gave me a $60 credit and 1000 minutes of offpeak for the life of the contract. So as I see it, I am $60 ahead. If I can find the 82XX for ~$120 I would buy it and then have them activate that phone, then give my 6100 series phone to my brother.
You can activate a new phone on your current contract by giving AT&T the ESN # on the back of the phone.
That is the reason I asked...
Thanks for your info, though.

I would recomend getting the 8290 if you can find it, but not many companies carry it
It has a whole lot more features, im thinking of ditching my 8260 for an 8290 when my contract is up.

I ended up getting the 8260 for $55.00 from AT&T after (m)
I showed them the buy.com special.
Now all I need to figure out is how to personalize the rings and images.
Where is the audi sport image?
