I have a 5100 series nokia phone. Is the car kit installation instructions the same as the 6100?? What are the major differances in the two phones? I can trade in the 5100 phone for a 6100 for $50. is it worth it?

Physical connection wise, the phones are the same. The Pins on the bottom of the phones have the same function and Nokia's interface hardware is hte same for 51xx and 61xx. The main difference in the phone (if you are on TDMA) is the frequency switching which the 6100 will do but the 5100 will not. Hope that helps!

I looked at both and went with the 51xx because as far as I could tell, the 61xx just had a bigger address book.
