Follow up to my earlier post:
For those of you without a DAU-9P serial data cable, there may be another way you can upload logos. IguaNa SMS of Singapore offers logo transfer via SMS.
They offer 2 FREE trial uploads. You buy "credits" to do additional uploads.
The instructions on the site are pretty clear. Just follow the "free trial zone" link. This may or may not work depending on which service provider you are using.
IMPORTANT: You must have the latest firmware version on your phone. Nokia's most recent release (5.8x) was back in September of 1999. If you purchased your phone before then and haven't had your phone serviced lately, then chances are your firmware is out of date and custom logos will not work for you. Contact your service provider and ask them about getting a firmware update.

I tested the free trial service and got a successful logo transfer on my 6190 even though they don't list it as a compatible phone. For the free trial, you'll have to pick one of the existing logos from their gallery. This is the one I chose:

Hope this helps.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=4699"><IMG src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/deepblue_signature.gif" border=0></a>

It still shows the provider logo (Pac Bell)??! My phone was purchased in Nov. 99. If I can receive a logo, does that mean I do have the proper firmware? Hmm...
