Default same here

mine was pretty low 2-3 months ago, I topped it off and hasnt dropped yet. Although it could just be an uber slow leak.

Default Could be this

I haven't spent much time checking out my Audi PS setup, but when this happens in a front-engine P-car the missing fluid can usually found behind the outer seals of the PS rack. Wouldn't be surprised here if you've got a leaking PS rack and the fluid is being held in behind the outer seals.

Default No, check the rack and lines for leaks...

We did our steering rack under warranty at 40k on our 00 30v. I've found the hose clamps on the lines off the p/s fluid expansion tank are a waste of time and should be replaced. They are a good source for leaks.

Default my lines around the expansion tank is bone dry!!! I mean no leaks

I've got some free time to have a look at the PS rack and it is clean.
